PRIVACY STATEMENT

INTRODUCTION

Studio FX BV processes personal data of its customers, prospects and other contact persons. We do this to help our clients as much as possible and to achieve our goals. In this privacy statement we explain why and how we process your personal data.

We do not have a Data Protection Officer in (free) services, but we would like to help you answer your questions.

WHOM ARE WE?

Studio FX BV is a video production company located at Lange Zandstraat 10, 2800 Mechelen, Belgium and is responsible for the processing of your personal information as described in this privacy statement.

We consider your privacy very important and ensure that the personal information you share with us is treated with care.
This privacy statement covers all our processing – even if we process personal data together with other parties (e.g. when sending invoices). In this privacy statement we would like to explain how we treat your personal data with care.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA does Studio Fx process?

We process your personal data by using our services (website and webinars) and our products and / or because you provide these data to us yourself. An example of the latter is registering for webinars which are given regularly (free of charge).

Below you will find an overview of the personal data we may process, depending on the product or service you purchase or use:

SPECIAL AND/OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING Studio Fx

Our website, (free) services and products have no intention of collecting information about website visitors under the age of 16 unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years of age. We encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities. This is to prevent information about children from being collected without parental consent. If you suspect that we have collected a minor’s personal information without permission, please contact us at [email protected] We will delete the information in these cases.

We also process photographs. These are pictures taken by ourselves, for example during assignments. We use these photos to give our content more atmosphere. We can also use these pictures in our advertisements, of course with your permission.

For what purpose Studio Fx processes personal data We process personal data for the following purposes:

Legal obligations

A small part of our processing is required by law.
This mainly concerns personal data that is necessary to comply with our tax obligations.

Member administration and services

In our member administration we keep track of all prospects and customers of Studio FX, together with the relevant contact persons. We keep various personal data of contact persons in order to carry out our (free) services and products as optimally as possible. This is how we keep contact details up to date:

Deliver our (free) services (online trainings) and products/services that you have purchased.

Handle your registration and/or payment after you have purchased a product or service;

Be able to call or email you if this is necessary to perform the service you have purchased.

To inform you about (changes to) our services and products that you have previously purchased.
You can always unsubscribe via a link in the e-mail.

Would you like to contact us? You can reach us through various channels, such as: telephone, mail, e-mail, Facebook.
To make this possible we also process personal data.





Newsletters and mailings

You can sign up with us for various newsletters and mailing lists. Sometimes these newsletters are personalized based on certain actions you have taken. For example, certain campaigns about our products and (free) services or e-mails reminding you of a webinar or an e-mail with the repetition of the webinar.
You always have the possibility to change your preferences for receiving newsletters and e-mails. If you do not want to receive newsletters, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of each email.


Privacy policy

In order to be able to conduct, send and review the audits of the Privacy Guarantee, contact details are processed.

Recruitment (marketing)

To maintain contact with everyone, we also process contact details and areas of interest about our products, such as live training at our location, and (free) services, such as a webinar.

For campaigns for (free) services and products of Studio FX BV and related campaigns such as our events) we also process personal data. For example IP address, cookie ID, social ID and/or surfing behavior. We do this to be able to show the most relevant advertisement in the right places.

In addition, for Studio FX related campaigns (such as events) we make use of ‘custom target groups through Facebook. Think for example of ‘custom target groups’ based on the behavior on our website or based on an email address. E-mail addresses are delivered and anonymized to create target groups that we want to approach with our advertisements through Facebook. We then receive reports with anonymized data. (Personalized) advertisements can be shown on these platforms. We do not pass on personal data to third parties for this purpose, unless you have given your unambiguous consent.

Note: you may still see ads from Studio Fx afterwards.
In these cases you will fall into a general target group on which we focus our ad.

Improvement service Studio FX

For the improvement of our services, we also keep personal data. For example: Conversion rates and open rates to see how relevant our emails (newsletters, reminders of webinars and repetitions of webinars) or Messenger Bots are.

 

AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING

Studio FX BV does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that may have adverse consequences for you.

 

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

Under the GDPR, everyone has a number of rights. We do our utmost to comply with this as best as possible. Do you have any tips or remarks? Please let us know!

Information and inspection: of course you can see what personal data we process about you.
We will be happy to tell you more about how and why we process these data.

Rectification: do you feel that we have incorrect information about you? Please let us know and we will correct it.

Forgetfulness: you can delete the personal data we have about you. It may be that for other purposes (administration or deduplication for example) we still have to process these data.

Restriction: if you feel that we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you can also have that processing restricted.

Objection (objection): you can submit an objection to the processing of your personal data. Is it about marketing? If so, we will terminate the processing as soon as possible.

Transferability: this is a new right under the GDPR to transfer your personal data (or have them transferred). If you would like to make use of this right, please contact us.

HOW LONG KEEPS Studio Fx BV YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Personal data may not be kept longer than necessary.

PRINCIPLES OF PROCESSING

As explained above, we process some data for the performance of a legal duty, some for the performance of an agreement (Facebook marketing training, sign up webinar, event) and most for the performance of the legitimate interest of Studio Fx performing our objective. If you want to know more about the consideration we make in the justified interest, you can find us! Finally, we process some data with your permission: this is mainly about online tracking methods.

SHARES OF PERSONAL DATA BY Studio Fx BV WITH THIRD PARTIES

We will share your personal information with business partners and third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. In some other cases, we may also share your personal information with third parties, but we will only do so with your express consent.

SUPPLIERS

We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and protect the confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processes.

We use the following suppliers who process personal data on behalf of Studio Fx, with whom each processor has entered into agreements: Facebook, Google, WebinarJam, Mailchimp, GroundHogg, Impresiv.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We have concluded an editing agreement with Google. The data we collect in Google Analytics is anonymized and encrypted. The so-called ‘sharing of data’ with Google is turned off. Finally, we do not use the Analytics cookies in combination with other Google services.

HOW StudioFx PERSONAL DATA SECURITY

We take the protection of your information seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent its misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure and unauthorized alteration. If you feel that your information is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at [email protected]

We have taken the following measures to protect your personal information:

Our employees’ servers and devices are equipped with up-to-date security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.

We only send your data via secure internet connections (SSL). You can see this in the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock.

Access to personal data from mobile devices is restricted and actively monitored.

All Studio Fx employees who have access to personal data are trained to handle your data with care.

DKIM are internet standards that we use to prevent you from receiving e-mails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.

The StudioFx websites contain a number of references to other websites of organizations.
Studio FX is not responsible for the way in which those parties process personal data.
Therefore you can read the privacy statement of the organization in question.

COOKIE STATEMENT

The StudioFx BV website uses cookies. We use cookies to personalize content and advertisements, to provide social media features and to analyze our website traffic. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analysis partners. These partners may combine this data with other information that you have provided to them or that they have collected based on your use of their services.
